Asian Inter-Parliamentary Caucus on Labour Migration

"Parliaments have an obvious and important role to play in bringing about a more open and informed public debate on the trade-offs involved in migration policy. I call on the Inter-Parliamentary Union and Parliamentarians for Global Action, to work with IOM and other international organizations to educate their constituencies about migration, facilitate international dialogue among parliamentarians on this topic, and foster their engagement in the consultations on the global migration compact." -Report of the Special Representative, Mr. Peter Sutherland, to the Secretary-General.United Nations, General Assembly, A/71/728 (3 February 2017)
